Mission
The Regional Hospice of Quinte, Inc. assists terminally ill patients and their caregivers by giving them support and companionship in an effort to improve their quality of life.
Vision
Hospice will strive to assist patients and their caregivers by addressing their hopes and fears, their physical, psychological, spiritual, social and practical needs during illness and bereavement.
Values
All Hospice Quinte palliative care activities recognize and support the following values:
- The intrinsic value of each person as an individual.
- The value of life, the natural process of death, and the opportunities for growth and self-actualization therein.
- Care is guided by quality of life as defined by the patient.
