Donations to Hospice Quinte

Our mandate is to provide care and support to the terminally ill and their families, at no cost to them. Although we do not charge for our services, we do incur operating cost, and must rely heavily upon the generosity of our donors and the energy and expertise of our volunteer fundraisers, who support our cause. We receive and depend on donations from families who have used our services, donations in memoriam, foundations, corporations and small business, and individuals in the community.

We receive 38% of our operating budget from the Ministry of Health, to help cover the costs of our programs, but the remainder must be covered by donations and our fundraising. We must continually be involved in public awareness to make the community aware of the need for our programs and the need to support it.

We provide a charitable receipt for all donations of $5.00 and over. Tax-deductible donations can be made to Hospice Quinte in memoriam or as a general donation. We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Cash, or Cheques.

Please support our Nevada Ticket program. Our Nevada outlets are Mac's on Trent Street in Frankford, and SK Convenience at Sidney St. and Bell Blvd. in Belleville.

The need for palliative and hospice care will only grow in the future. We hope that we can continue to provide some of the very special care that people need in their final journey in this life. With the understanding and support from our communities, we will.
